Jorge oversees and manages the implementation of the Open Government Project in Costa Rica. The project seeks to increase the innovation capacity, and the use of public services in 15 local governments through training.
Jorge holds a Bachelor Degree in Public Administration from the Actuary Sciences University of Costa Rica. He served as a National Coordinator of Open Data for the Open Government Team of the Republic Presidency of Costa Rica. Likewise, he was also a National Coordinator for the Viceminister in Citizen Dialogue.
Jorge also performs as a consultor in Open Data, Big Dara, and Public Innovation and Data Science.
