Lourdes Serrano is the Regional Program Manager for the Americas and the Caribbean at The Trust for the Americas, where she leads the strategic oversight and implementation of high-impact initiatives across the hemisphere. In this role, she oversees a diverse portfolio of programs centered on digital inclusion, economic empowerment, and social innovation, working collaboratively with local partners, donors, and stakeholders to drive sustainable and inclusive development.
With over a decade of international experience, Lourdes has managed education and social inclusion programs across Germany, Canada, Mexico, and now the broader Americas. Her efforts have consistently contributed to expanding opportunities for the communities, strengthening civil society, and advancing equity through cross-sector collaboration.
Lourdes holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business and a master’s degree in Finance, and her expertise lies in human development, innovation, women’s empowerment, and technology-driven learning. She is deeply committed to co-creating solutions that promote dignity, opportunity, and inclusion in the region.
