María Camila Guerra

Senior Project Officer

Political scientist from Politécnico Grancolombiano University in Bogotá, Colombia, with a strong focus on research methodologies in the Social Sciences and public policy analysis. Her professional path has been centered on designing and supporting social projects aimed at promoting peace, reconciliation, and strengthening entrepreneurship.

She has worked as a Social Project Assistant and Officer in initiatives like Peace Laboratories, in collaboration with Bogotá’s High Council for Victims’ Rights, Peace, and Reconciliation. During her internship at The Trust for the Americas, she provided technical support in drafting proposals for potential partnerships, contributed to information systems management, and offered administrative assistance across different projects. She also served as Assistance Manager at the Unit for Attention and Comprehensive Reparation to Victims in Colombia.

Since January 2021, María Camila has been working at The Trust for the Americas as a Project Officer, supporting initiatives such as POETA DigiSpark in Chile, Perú, Colombia and Puerto Rico, and Fostering Innovative Entrepreneurship in Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and Colombia
