Pierina Nepote Rangel is an International Development specialist with ten years of experience supporting projects in the fields of work-force development, entrepreneurship promotion, as well as youth and women empowerment through technology in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Americas. She has supported foundations, nonprofits, and government agencies through technical, operational, and financial support, as well as evaluation, strategy development, and capacity building services. Pierina holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from ITESO University in Guadalajara and a Master’s degree in International Development from the University of Birmingham in England. Pierina is a native of Mexico and speaks Spanish, English, and French. At The Trust for the Americas, Pierina manages the POETA (Partnership for Economic Opportunities through Technology in the Americas) Program with presence in over a dozen countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
