Adriana Rueda Barrios is a researcher and development specialist committed to equity and socioeconomic inclusion. As Regional Operations Coordinator for POETA DigiSpark, she leads initiatives that expand access to economic opportunities through technology. Originally from Cartagena, Colombia, Adriana holds a degree in International Relations from Tecnológico de Monterrey and has complemented her education with studies in Social Project Management and Public Policy Evaluation.
Her academic work has explored women's access to tertiary education and the formal labor market in Latin America, with publications in journals such as the Iberoamerican Journal of Development Studies, Encuentro Latinoamericano, and International Journal of Education Economics and Development. Passionate about education, gender equity, digital inclusion, and public policy analysis, Adriana continually seeks new ways to drive social impact and contribute to structural transformation in the region.
