Description
On August 31, 2018, the act of initiation of the agreement between the General Secretariat of the Mayor's Office of Bogotá and The Trust for the Americas/OAS was signed in order to unite technical, financial, administrative, logistical, and operational efforts to develop activities associated with the goals of Peace Laboratories and Peace Building Locations. It seeks that local inhabitants, social leaders, social and political organizations, representatives of local institutions of six (6) localities of Bogota (Sumapaz, Usme, Bosa, Suba, Rafael Uribe and San Cristobal) promote collective action and the development of initiatives of memory, peace and reconciliation through the strengthening of community capacities for peacebuilding, based on the DIA Innovation Model. The activities will be developed during a period of four (4) months, during the months of September to December 2018.
Project purpose
Promote collective action and the development of initiatives of memory, peace and reconciliation through the strengthening of community capacities for the construction of peace, based on the Innovation Model DIA to the inhabitants of the localities, social leaders, social and political organizations, representatives of the local Institutions of six (6) localities of Bogota (Sumapaz, Usme, Bosa, Suba, Rafael Uribe and San Cristóbal).
