VIVE - Come, Get Inspired, and Sell
The VIVE Project (Come, Get Inspired, and Sell), supported by Walmart Foundation and led by The Trust for the Americas in partnership with Fundación ManpowerGroup, has empowered economically disadvantaged Mexican women since 2016. Targeting women aged 15 and older from low-income backgrounds, the project has operated in 184 municipalities across 28 states, providing training in sales, customer service, entrepreneurship, leadership, and gender-based violence prevention. The goal is to expand economic opportunities for women and prevent violence against women and girls.

Success stories
Isabel, a 58-year-old retired woman from Toluca, Mexico, always dreamed of having her own business but didn’t know where to start. After taking the VIVE course, she learned how to create and manage her vegan milk business. In just four months, she developed her brand and doubled her sales. Now, she sells from home and at local fairs, generating savings and reinvesting in her business. Isabel earned personalized mentoring for her active participation and plans to make the most of it.
Thanks to the VIVE Project, Ana Karen, a 30-year-old nutritionist from Celaya, Guanajuato, turned her business idea into an integral health clinic. She also founded a non-profit organization linked to her business. VIVE provided her with valuable knowledge in finance and management. After participating in "Mi Pitch de Negocio," she won second place, $1,000, and personalized mentoring. Ana Karen states, "My business started as a dream, but now it is a reality."
