Improving Municipal Government Services through Innovation and Local Networks

The Trust for the Americas, in partnership with local governments in Costa Rica and InnovaAp from the University of Costa Rica, promotes multisectoral collaboration and the creation of municipal networks. The project will implement two blockchain pilots to improve transparency and efficiency in municipal services. Social actors, such as NGOs, businesses, and academia, will receive training, mentorship, and resources for entrepreneurship. Five municipalities (Grecia, Cañas, Quepos, Turrialba, and Orotina) participated in this initiative.
