Digital Impulse
The Trust for the Americas and the Fundación Microfinanzas BBVA, USAID, and Bancamía launched the Empropaz Project in Colombia with Impulso Digital. This program strengthened businesses by providing training in digital skills and marketing and mentoring. It benefited head-of-household women, Venezuelan migrants, and young people in 11 departments, boosting the digitalization of businesses and online sales. Impulso Digital aimed to empower women entrepreneurs to face challenges and grow in the digital marketplace.

Success stories
María Elizabeth (38), from the San Vicente del Caguán municipality, one of the areas most affected by armed conflict in Colombia, overcame challenges such as limited internet access to participate in Impulso Digital. Thanks to the training, she transformed her business, moving from selling yuca bread on the streets to opening a fast-food restaurant. "Now I use technological tools to grow my business," she says. With support, she designed her logo, created a catalog, and advanced towards building her presence on social media.
