Implementation of the Inter-American Open Data Program to Prevent and Fight Corruption (PIDA) in Panama

This project promoted collaboration and the development of technical capacities between governments and citizens to implement the Inter-American Open Data Against Corruption Program (PIDA) in Panama. The use of open data strengthens democracy by enabling policies for the prevention and sanctioning of corruption. Through a comprehensive plan, the regulation was mapped, intersectoral dialogue and citizen empowerment were promoted, and digital technologies were leveraged to improve transparency and access to public information.
