Strengthening the Innovative Entrepreneurship PR
Since 2018, AES Puerto Rico and The Trust for the Americas have been driving economic recovery on the island through social intervention projects. These projects strengthen entrepreneurship through hybrid training, mentoring, and seed capital, leveraging information technology and artificial intelligence. Thanks to this methodology, we have impacted communities in at least 40 municipalities, such as Guayama, Salinas, and Ponce, promoting local economic development.

Success stories
Winifred Santana, a 49-year-old mother, wife, and grandmother, has built a successful career in agriculture. She specializes in home gardening and provides practical education to underserved communities. After joining the "Potenciando el Emprendimiento Innovador" project, she deepened her passion for agricultural education and founded El Huerto de Orlean, a school dedicated to this cause. With the support of AES Puerto Rico and her victory at the entrepreneurship fair, Winifred is now advancing her mission to enhance food sovereignty and train future community leaders.
