POETA DigiSpark
POETA DigiSpark POETA DigiSpark empowers vulnerable individuals (ages 16 and up) through technology, facilitating access to employment, entrepreneurship, and education in 11 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean, with support from Microsoft Philanthropies. In 2025, the program will emphasize artificial intelligence and cybersecurity as key pillars, training educators and entrepreneurs in emerging technologies. With a network of 20 partners, it promotes digital, technical, and life skills, fostering regional digital and economic transformation.ca regional.

Success stories
Beyanid Beyanid (30), from Usme, Bogotá, transformed her passion for sewing into a successful home-based workshop. With support from the POETA-Laudes center, she gained access to machinery, Excel and leadership training, and entrepreneurship advice. This boosted her business, "Confeccionando Sueños," allowing her to launch her first collection and create jobs for other women. Beyanid now leads a team trained in digital and business skills, strengthening her brand and impact on the community.
Clara Rosa (29), a migrant mother from Venezuela, arrived in Brazil in 2018. After overcoming numerous challenges, she started a fast-food business during the pandemic. When she discovered the ADN Emprendedoras course at the POETA–Casa dos Sete center, Clara improved her financial, digital, and marketing skills, allowing her to formalize her business and increase her income. Today, she inspires others, plans to open a physical store, and dreams of creating an NGO to help migrant women.
Julia (51), from Venezuela, dedicated herself to her family after becoming a mother, but in 2021, she decided to resume her professional development. Enrolled in the CDI Chile courses, she became interested in data analysis and, after completing the PowerBI Bootcamp, secured a paid internship as a Data Analyst at an NGO. "POETA DigiSpark was key to gaining confidence and reintegrating into the labor market," says Julia, who at 51 is reigniting her career with renewed energy. "POETA DigiSpark fue clave para ganar confianza y reintegrarse al mercado laboral", comenta Julia, quien a sus 51 años retoma su carrera con renovada energía.
